Where the Alborz falls into the Caspian

Most people’s mental image of Iran is desert, which makes the Caspian coast a useful corrective: dense green forest, high rainfall, and the Alborz dropping into the sea within a few kilometres. Ramsar is the gentlest flying on this list and the obvious place for tandem passengers.
